Yes, works great. When Im in a hurry, I use a lot pints instead of a few quarts.

Yes, you can shake it and distribute the colonized grain vs. PF tek which has that top filter layer of verm.

Actually, you can fill the pint jars to the top with your rye, add a verm top layer and colonize them just like a pf style jar without the shaking.
Works great, but I suggest a fifth, center inoculation hole for even colonization.

I do a pint jar every time I PC since my PC holds 10 quarts and 1 pint. Just do like a quart..they colonize qay quicker and are easier to shake then quarts if you have the patience to knock up tons of pints. Small grows can use pints fine though..I fill them up even more then dmc and more then quarts since they shake much easier..almost to the top.

fuck yeah man, fill them up near the top to a point that you can still shake them. Those two jars are third generations g2g and I just wanted a modest amount of spawn in each jar to quicken the whole process.

Yeah..for smaller amounts of spawn I even use 1/2 pints sometimes..1/2 pint can g2g 12-15 quarts if you stretch it alot..when I do more g2g's at once though pints are the shizzle because they're ready before the quarts are and can stretch for 3 dozen quarts g2g.
