be realistic, nobody that i know is growing shrooms for religion. and nobody in the legal system is buying thatbunch of shit either. that shit looks good on paper but take the religion defense to court and see what happens ! i will tell you - go directly to jail ! do not pass go etc...
which makes a person wonder - how do you get busted cultivating shrooms, and running a website selling spores and kits and still not go to jail ??????????? send me your attourney's name - he must be a bad mo-fo !

I never got busted cultivating shrooms, but my friend did.

My friend had his house raided by the police when his landlord found out about his grow and called the cops.

the cops came and saw his whole setup, mushrooms growing in several dozen terrariums.

My friend got arrested, because he had a bong in open view. The mushroom grow was left untouched. He was charged with posession of parephrenalia, and his bong got confiscated.

If you check, I'm sure you'll find no busts in Florida recently for growing mushrooms. People who try to sell mushrooms still get arrested, as do people caught with dried mushrooms, but they will not bother you if you have mushrooms growing.

My attorney cetrtainly IS a bad mo-fo, but he didn't do anything special for me on this one, he just told me what the law says and what that decision meant for me and my business (and sorry, he doesn't want his name circulated among this community)

as far as your assertion that nobody is going to grow shrooms for religion, think about why you use shrooms. If its to improve yourself spiritually, then you're using mushrooms religiously.

Seminole Indians have been using mushrooms in their religious ceremonies for hundreds or maybe thousands of years. If the court didn't take their claims seriously, they would not have passed down a decision affirming the Seminoles' rights to use mushrooms.
