PF got busted a while back and has already been through the court system. Hippie3, somebody that runs another mushroom site, is claiming that PF is now a narc (because he got off fairly light in her opinion). Of course, this is the same Hippie3 that accused our very own Ythan of being a narc back in 1999. Hippie3 seems to be a decent grower, but I don't believe a word she says. She has zero credibility as far as I am concerned.

Calling you a narc is what hippie3 does when she realizes that she has no power over you. I wear it like a badge of honor, a signal that Hippie3 holds me in high regard, especially if she puts me in with such distinguished company as Prof. Fanaticus, Ythan, Mushroom John, the list goes on...

Guess what? He is sending this to all the members of mycotopia via email:

No, what I meant by that comment was I wish something could be done. Unfortunately, nothing can be. If that guy wants to spread lies, then he will. It's just unfortunate that he runs Mycotopia and so that gives him credibility = people on that site will believe him.



BUT, I don't know if what he is saying is true or not, so I don't want to call him a liar until it is known for sure that PF is not a narc.

There is no way to know it. Hippie doesn't know it either. He spins wild conspiracy theories and probably he even believes it himself at the end.

From the information I have, I concluded that what Hippie says is nothing but hot air.
Hippie has a history of accusing people he doesn't like to be a "snitch" , "narc" and "informant". He seems to like the sound of these words....make me wonder why this is, perhaps he is a snitch himself? Who knows, I don't.

I can tell you enequivocally that Professor Fanaticus is not a narc.

He pleaded guilty, he served his sentence, and it was only his own honesty, the skill of his lawyer, and the fact that he didn't sell mushrooms that kept him out of prison. He still has more than 2 years probation to serve.

Nobody has been arrested. The wild stories Hippie3 told about her own impending arrest some months ago turned out not to be true. There is no snitch here, only a bitter website owner who feels she has been cheated out of her inheritance.

here's what i know.
first,
we need to make clear that we are talking about peoples' lives at risk,
prison sentences of many years' length.
so it is my contention that we do not need
to be able to prove beyond a reasonable doubt,
all we really need is a reasonable suspicion.
we must err on the side of caution when dealing with potential threats,
we cannot afford to extend every reasonable doubt.

now there are two sides of this equation,
pf's and gerald's,
as well as how they intersect.
first let's look at the pf case.
here we see a man who was making,
by his own admission,
$30,000 a month selling spore syringes.
he also admitted that he knew he was under FBI/DEA surveillance for a number of years.
his arrest was such big news that it made all the local papers,
the DEA swarmed in, helicopters were deployed,
black-masked armed men in body armor raided
at least 2 different residences,
confiscating marijuana, mushrooms, cash, and sundry grow equipment and supplies.
a major bust, by anyone's standards.
yet,
by some miracle,
the DEA just dropped all its' charges
and turned pf over to the local authorities to be prosecuted for simple possession,
and he got probation.
he got to keep all his houses,
despite using them to run an illegal grow op.
he got to keep his money.
he got to keep his website.
so he comes back here
and he tells us
that he's done with it all.
ok, fine.
but now, after storming out of here several months ago and vowing to never return,
he comes back.

now let us turn briefly to gerald.
now unlike with pf,
i have direct knowledge of gerald's attempts to send me to jail,
i KNOW he's a rat bastard.
anyway,
when gerald announced that he had been given pf's secret a couple months ago at shroomery,
he was, quite naturally,
asked to furnish proof.
gerald told everyone that this was not possible,
that the terms of pf's plea agreement specifically forbade pf from any involvement in the mushroom internet culture, etc.
he told us that pf could never admit to giving away his secret to gerald,
as that would send him back to jail,
and that we'd just have to take him at his word.
but next thing you know,
along comes pf
and guess what ?
he confirms that he did give gerald his secret,
in public on a website that he himself claims is monitored by the authorities.
so here we have a conflict, plain as day.
their story does not mesh with their actions.

there are other lines of evidence that i am privy to, emails i have rec'd alleging that pf did in fact sell out a few close associates in the days immediately after his arrest.

then take pf himself,
a man i've 'known' almost 7 years now.
i have never known that man to just give away anything,
never once in the entire time he visited here did he ever give away as much as a single spore.
yet now we are to believe that he just up and gave away his $30,000 a month name & secret
to some guy he just met via email.
many people were after that secret,
and that name.
pf said here in his interview that he would never even sell them,
let alone give them away,
despite offers of large sums of cash from interested parties.
yet as it turns out
he was, even as he lied to us,
tutoring his successor, gerald, in private.
why ?

and why is gerald openly selling both spores and substrate, a major legal infraction,
openly, without fear of reprisal ?
why does gerald use the pf name,
so well known to the DEA/FBI ?

there are just too many suspicious
unanswered questions here
to extend the benefit of
the doubt any longer.
i could go on longer,
laying out other lines of argument
but i think i've made my point.
everyone will have to decide for themselves
if they want to accept the risk
just to send gerald,
a known asshole,
who posted private info, names & addresses on usenet,
their name and address.

and here's one more tibit-
back when gerald was really pissed off,
a few members here sent him emails.
know what gerald did ?
he traced the emails back
and wrote the 'parents'
that their children
were frequenting a known drug website
and that they should search them, etc.
because he planned to turn them in
unless they put a stop to the harrassment.

more details i really can't give
as that would put people in danger.
but i guess folks will need to decide
who they believe more-
me, the guy who's been here for years,
or gerald, who's been around a few months,
or pf, the guy who got busted and walked.

Why don't you post the police report from that bust? If I'm a snitch then my name would be in the court papers. There never was a bust was there? Yet still you continue to call me a snitch.

effectively makes growing mushrooms for religious use perfectly legal.

therefore it is perfectly legal for anyone in Florida to grow mushrooms, so long as all growing done is for legitimate religious use.

Selling supplies to these growers is not a criminal offense. People who live outside the jurisdiction of the Florida Supreme Court may also have these same rights, since these rights are granted by a federal act. The Federal Restoration of Religious Freedom act restores and guarantees the rights of people who have been told that their preferred religious practice has been made illegal by state or federal law. This act was originally drafted to restore the rights of members of Native American religious denominations who used peyote in their ceremonies. I has been expanded to include use of mushrooms by seminole indians here in florida and in other states. Since my company is located in Florida, i can sell supplies to persons in any other jurisdiction that has not specifically ruled on this issue. (at the time of this writing, I've not heard that any other state has taken up the issue)
