What's wrong with it? Are you insane? It's obvious most Americans are far too fatty to get decent meat out of. Pure fat alone would taste rather gross, they need to exercise more when they're young to be slaughtered, but cannibalism of Americans would also be very fattening and unhealthy to the consumer on top of it

Though I would eat a normal American fatty if I was in a dire situation, if it's just normal life I'd prefer the people had good meat.

I think it's far more evil to kill and eat innocent animals than people, yet I eat animals everyday. It's only a matter of time before everybody else releases this, and people either become cannibals or vegetarians. It'll probably be the former as people will be hesitant to give up meat

Kinda like slavery. Why were the slaves black and not white? well, if they enslaved white people, then other white people would enslave them back.

If we lost all food sources, i bet people would turn to eating those who died, maybe even start killing for some meat. There are lots of stories of pioneers heading out west who got stuck in blizzards in the high moutains and ate the dead to survive.

Those were extreme situations and these days, no one really finds themselves in those situations.

However, I think humans consume each other in a lot of others ways.

Why? Many humans are energetically, mentally, emotionally and astetically delicious!

Ever hear someone who loves you a lot say that they could gobble you up. Where do you think the nibbles and bites of lovers come from? LOL

Oh come on, do a little research before posting nonsense as fact.

Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease, the human form of BSE (look it up), like most prion diseases, can only be caught from another animal if the other animal has BSE or CJD itself, and then usually only if you eat neurological tissues, like the brain.

Eating a healthy person would not put you at risk for CJD at all, and even if the person you're eating had CJD, as long as you didn't eat the brain or CNS, you'd _probably_ not get sick.

Geez, doesn't anyone here ever actually research stuff before inventing facts and posting them as such? :syringe:

I don't usually watch T.V., but one night I happened to be watching an episode  of "Northern Exposure."  The cast members were considering  whom they would eat, if it came down to that.  It was pretty funny.

You wouldn't want to eat someone too fat, because of the fat you would be digesting and it would be bad for your body.  You wouldn't want to eat someone who works out because their meat would be tough.

The perfect person to eat is one who is young, who hasn't worked out, and who isn't fat.

Any volunteers???

Cannibalism's a problem because people are gluttons, and want good food.. so it'd lead to murder, and murder's bad.
Cannibalism of people who died without interference isn't accepted because.. well, it's weird. And from what I've heard, people are one of the worst tasting animals.
I think it's mainly the former, though. Sure, you only eat dead people now.. but I'm sure that tastes like crap, and what if you're hungry? Who would taste best?
That's right.. the members of your society that are really most needed for the continuity of society. The young, healthy ones.
