candles and mushrooms

so i want to have a solitary trip tonight in my room, and i was thinking candles would be a nice touch, because i find that light from light bulbs seems very fake and somewhat...chemical like when im tripping, and i think that candle light would provide a natural glow, but i am worried about the safety (i dont want to burn my house down)...any experience with candles and mushrooms? any advice or tips would be appreciated..thanks

I actually tripped one night, shrooming quite nicely after about 2 hours (ate about a dried eighth) and the power went out.  So me and my friend went outside and built a fire.  Watching or being near a flame as opposed to a light seems to provide a much calmer trip.  Your head doesn't want to move as quickly and you're simply in a more euphoric state.  I highly advise candles with shoomin'  :smile:

I like having a candle lit. I have never been to a point though where I thought I would knock it over.
I usually just enjoy watching the flame flicker and the shadows dance across the wall.

as long as they aren't scented I like candles while tripping. Scented ones make me feel sick.

But be careful with that fire!

Ya dude, candles are cool, just don't fuck with fire if you take more than 3.5.. you may decide you need more light and try to light your dick on fire ' cause jesus told you so'

Fire is very fascinating under the influence. After eatign 7 grams I was playing with a lighter and convinced myself that I was more than just human at that moment in time and that if I didn't want to be burned and told myself it wasn't hot enough to burn me it wouldn't. In my head it seemed I had the flame to my palm for at least 15 seconds, but since I didn't end up burning myself it must have in reality been more like 1, lol. Than smartly I decided right after this I had proven my point to myself and put the lighter away.
