This is a picture of a tree that was in my backyard at my old apartment, we discovered it had a face one day after eating some mushrooms, It seemed to have many faces, each one having a different look on it, we named it the Thinking Tree.

I couldn't before he edited and added the picture, no.
That's is pretty cool... I definitely see the prominent face, assuming you mean the one made up of the growths on the right side.
I see two brows, which form dark undersides that appear as eye sockets.. then below that you have a quite shapely nose, and then a moustache/mouth/beard formed out of the next two growths and the negative space between them.
That's pretty neat!

Trees are amazing creatures aren't they, If they could only send us signals of communication the wonderful things they would say.
Peace, Droz

You should start a new religion centered around worship of that tree.

looking at trees is a 'must do' on my shrooming things to do list, no two trees are ever alike and you get the fun oddball like that Thinking Tree. Last time I shroomed in a forest I saw a couple trees that either barfed on themselves (the sap was coming out in gushes all over the bark) and another tree that literally looked like it was puking bark in long arcs out of a knot in the bark. damned disgusting trees....

There's a special tree out in front of my apartment building. When the tree was young, a metal stake had been driven into the earth beside it to help keep the tree stable. Now, the tree stands taller than a streetlamp, and the metal stake is sticking out of it's trunk at a 45 degree angle. The tree had swallowed it's support whole. Kinda makes me question how solid things really are. When objects considered in terms of the time they occupy as much as the space the occupy, they take on a fluidic quality.

That pic he shown was a pic of a tree with a serious fungal infection. Not a happy tree but a sick tree
Trees with big lumps like that are suffering from infection

Those lumps can also develop by the loss of limbs.
There doesn't seem to be too much moss on it, either.
Peace.
