Everytime I drink I can't stop from drinking way too much and then I always do something to make a negative impact on my life like bitch at my friends over nothing or crash my car or do something embarrassing that I may or may not remember the next day. Ironic, after realizing all of this it is still so difficult to stop drinking......... :frown:


i hear ya, i have wanted to stop drinking for some time now. all it has ever done is destroyed my life. last night i got in an accident and i think because of this i will stop. i have told myself i am never going to drink again but i dunno if i will be able to. not to mention in an unrelated incident my friend almost died last night as a result of drinking. my friends were having a party and some people from a neighboring apartment complex stopped in. the party went on fine but someone stole the keg from my friends when nobody was noticing. the keg was empty but it still has a heavty deposit for it in the state so my friends went to get it back. eventually one of the people gave the keg back to my friend outside but right after the other group attacked my friends, my friend was cut on the inside of the arm and bleed heavily and was taken to the hospital. he is alright now but his face is all messed up and he had to have stiches for his arm. my accident has also most likely fucked me really bad for a very very long time so i think its my time to have a much needed divorce from alcohol.

"Why did the government have to make THIS the legal drug" my thoughts exactly. cars are really bad mix man. i ended up not going last night and went out with a buddy. not drinking. did get high, and did slowly back into a tree. no harm, good night. been 4 days now. still havnt gone to any meetings yet. anyway thanks guys, distraction seems to be teh key. never had such a clean house.
