I am a newbie cultivator. I started my first grow on the 19th of Oct.
Tonight while I was getting ready to go to bed...I noticed something absolutely amazing, well to me anyways. I've been whining and bothering the poor shroomerites in cult because I hadn't seen pins yet. Well...I took a look and YAY...PINS!!
I already posted this in cult. but I was so excited I had to tell my fellow pubbers. I will soon be deshroominized!

Anyways, I checked again and yup...I see pins! Yay, does this consider me a cultivater? An actual successful cultivator? Or do I have to wait until I pick em and gobble some down?

All 12 jars are contam free and smiling with pins!

I'm still overly excited.

They grow up so fast!  You'll look in there in only a few days and see pretty mushrooms, all grown up. 

My kitten is getting back into the growing game after leaving due to paranoia.  She looked in her incubator just the other day and felt a happy little thrill when she noticed how white her mycelium is in her jars. 

The thrill and satisfaction never goes away when it comes to those magical, mysterious little mushies!  :grin:

I have a horrible pic of a fully colonized jar. Other than that I don't have any. I don't want to use my web cam because the quality of the cam is bad. :frown:

I'm buying a digicam this thurs. so I'll have some pics right before I harvest!

Hey Desiree, if your cakes work out well, which Im sure they will you should try casings. It can sound intimidating at first with all the talk of additional contams and whatnot, but its actually really easy. And just look at the benefits. Let me know if ya need any help.

I was considering casings at first. I think I may do that sometime. I won't be doing this again anytime soon.
I just wanted the experience. I may do it again in the future.
Thanks though, When and if I decide to do it again, I'll keep your offer in mind.
