2nd flush questions. (Also am I drying these right?)

I am about to finish up this 1st flush, and I have a few questions.
(Note: 0 contams.)

What do I do w/ my perlite, that has spores on it? Do I clean it out w/ peroxide? Or just place new perlite down?

How long do I dunk my cakes for? 12 hours again? I'm assuming roll them again?

Do pins take as long the 2nd time as the 1st time?

This little pins that are brand new, not old and still small like aborts, do I pick them too when I flush, or are they part of the secound flush?

Also I'm drying these babies on a fan w/ a screen covered, it seems to take like 16 hours to get dry, my question is, do you think I'm losing much potencey?

I know these are a lot of questions, thank you!

Oh also after I dry them I store them in a butter tub w/ a paper towl at the bottem in case.

I agree, desiccant is the way to go. It will take about the same time, but they will be much dryer.

- Either or. The spores arent gonna germinate in h202 water.

-12hours in fridge and re-rolling im not sure.

-Sometimes, but expect quicker.

-leave em as they will grow for the 2nd flush

-your not losing anything. you should be getting them cracker dry--not bendable at all.

desiccant- home depot/lowes/walgreens <-- in the paint sections and its called DampRid. 4 bucks for a milk cartoon sized thing...

Hrm the stems bend a bit, I guess I should let the dry more :frown:

ya...you can get em cracker dry with a fan but it takes a few days. Friends usually fan for 24-36 hours then put em in a desiccant chamber and in 24 hours or so they become cracker.

This just means my flush was even smaller heh. But you know what 25 wet g's of these shrooms, hit me harder than 3.5 dry g's of any shrooms I've purchased, so I'm not to sad about it

What if I do this, after they get "bendable" dry, and the cap is cracker dry, I stick it in my tubberware storage thing, however I do this to my tubberware:

--------- Damprid

Is that good?

yep.....you should use foil...not paper towel cause it gets wet....poke holes in the foil......

Well I checked home depot, walmart and lowes and no damp rid, or anything like it, they all said, they all stopped carrying it about 1.5years ago

Well I did this now for storing them, when they get cracker dry on top and a little bendy stems...
