Organizing a mushroom scavenger hunt

Alright, here's the scenerio...I have a 10 acre lake surrounded by a wide open horse field, which is surrounded by a large forest area. I am trying to organize some sort of puzzle type game to be played while tripping. All players will be experienced trippers, and I will try to keep all doses under control so the players will not lose interest or get lost in the woods. I have several ideas, but I was looking here for a few suggestions from someone else's brain...Any good ideas?

I love having scavenger hunts! We usually have them with bottles of beer. Anyways, maybe make 2 person scavanger groups so they won't get lost or get into trouble along the way. You never know, right? First, hide the shrooms in double dosable amounts (two doses for two players), within a locked container. Now, as for the keys to unlock the hidden treasure, the scavengers would have to complete a task asigned from the master of the game (you I asume?). Really strange, stupid, yet fun asignments. (ie: send them off into a specified area of the forest to find something you put there, and bring it back.) For completion of each asignment, you would receive a key, good for any hidden chest around the area. You can elaborate upon this a bit more. It's only the genreal concept. Let me know what you think? ;-) Hydro has spoken! Please! Tell me about the fucking golf shoes!Edited by Hydro on 06/04/01 07:02 PM.

what a cool idea. that would definately be better for more experienced trippers. or if you do decide to allow some newbies (like me since i am stil waiting for my print to grow) then i would pair them as suck most exp with the least exp and so on.

Set everything up the day before. Play at night. use teams of two...Use glow sticks, glow in the dark toys ect. barely covered to help find the next clue..write clues in glow in the dark ink....along with the clues put junk like candy,a flashlight with no batteries, small water guns, halloween masks ect. to jazz it up....Whatever the prize there should be a note saying share with all scavengers or there's enough for everyone who played the game, ect....Be careful, we had the cops called on us one time, there was a report of naked people dancing around a fire, we were on private land only near a single road 300yards away and the cops came, they couldn't do anything but they didn't like it too much............

hey i kinda got a halfassed idea, if its in a wooded area, mark trees with glow in the dark ink and use those little hand held blacklights to find the marks, so it'll be a challenge to follow the trail. like i said, its a half assed idea, maybe someone could elaborate or something...
