*fat short mycoporn* first casing

My buddy has one casing and a couple pint tupperware cakes fruiting right now. 

The casing could have been incubated a little more but the pinset looked  ok for a beginner.  One thing though, tons of pins, very fat, but a little short.  Casing is 6x6x2.

I'll be sure to get some pix from him today to show you guys.

The shortness of them was a little disappointment but he has about 6 more casings incubating right now, a couple that he fruited just yesterday, and a whole lot of straw that is cooling down from pasteurization.

KSSS makes some knarly looking shrooms too, pix coming soon.

I would also like to say that my friend thanks you all for all the tips and tricks and gives much love to the shroomery.

Inside terrarium, those pint cakes are pinning like crazy and i dont even think i could count them all.

Pinning could have been better, but there are tons that you cant even see in that picture, sorry for the fuzziness.

No aborts yet and half of those havent broken veils yet, maybe they will be nice and grow a bit more :grin:

Anyways, plans include harvesting them all (some tonight) and dunking then minor side patching from shrinkage.

1.5 pints wbs cased with half inch verm bottom and jiffymix top layer.

well i'll tell him to use a better camera next time.

He was gracious enough to let me and my girl have some last night, wow, i dont know how much i took but those give a great trip. 

Im rooting for the straw casings to hurry up now :smirk:
