i have casings in disposible loaf pans. i haven't added perlite yet to my set-up. i thought the casings would provide enough humidity and i spray the walls of the rubbermade container for extra 'air" humidity.
should i remove the humidity from the walls and what has dripped to the bottom to remove some humidity if that is causing the fatness?

Humidity is a measure of how much water vapour is in the air.
What you are refering to as "Humidity on the walls" is condensed water as a result of your humidity. You can't have humidity on your walls. I have this problem a lot aswell, but I'm not particularly bothered about slightly fat shrooms. I say stop adding moisture to your setup, and then see how it goes.

I say, don`t fix it if it aint broke. Chances are these fat asses will turn into nicely proportioned mushrooms. What strain?

they grew about 1/4"-1/2" in a day. more are sprouting!
i think i may have a temperature problem. i am going to pick up a temp/humidity gauge today and see what up.
the pins also look like they have a kinda white skin on them?
