Superfast pinning with abhorts, what gives?

Hey everyone...
I Ive got these BRF/verm jars all colonized and looking pretty with EQ strain mycelium, I put them in my Kaz CoolMist humidified terrarium, and they started pinning in like 12 hours. No kidding! I mean, in less than 12 hours, they had, not just hyphal knots or little pins, but what looked like 1/4 - 1/2" long pins comming off them. Thing is, most of them look like abhorts. Usually, when I get an abhort, it was going to be a regular shroom, and then something happened environmentally to halt the growth. But here, they came off the cake looking like abhorts (small, dark cap and a big fat ass) What's going on? Ive got the terrarium at 79 degrees/97% RH. Any ideas?

I wouldnt worry about it unless the caps are black. And if they are dark...they may jus be a dark brown. Little fat pins sounds good to me.

Hmmm...could be nothing, I mean, they're still growing. Could be that it was too humid when they first appeared. Ive got the cool mist on a timer now..this is my 3rd attempt, Im hoping to see the 5-7g per cake yields Ive been reading about!

It's spelled aborts, not ahborts.

They probably started developing while in the jar. if you hadn't taken them out, they would have grown inside the jar.

Could be - I did leave them in there for a week after they were fully colonized - and, its turning out that they're not abhorts, just fat ass pins with dark brown caps!
