what causes a mushroom to abort?

what causes a shroom to abort? is there anyway to prevent aborts or at
least reduce the probability of it happening??

It depends on many parameters:
grow chamber: humidity, temperature, air exchange, light
substrate & casing: PH, moisture, temperature
mushroom strain
etc...

You have to get all this parameters right to achieve great results.

correct me if im wrong but,
parameteres or not, there have been no scientifical studies done to date
to explain ahborts....so everything you concluded is by theory.

No, seriously, I never saw anybody spell it "ahborts". It?s just the most unusual way to spell it I ever saw.

the foaf has noted unusually high abort rates with pf casings that had 100+ pins in a bowl sized area (GT). this foaf has had no problems with aborts when using cow dunga s a substrate. one condition that will lead to aborts in the foaf's experience is just lack of nutrients to support the pins that formed on a well made casing. he doesnt believe humidty or temp changes anything as well with light-will not. but what could, as seen by the foaf is poor air exchange. take this as you will.

I did a search on google about "abhorts" and it seems that some people use word abhort instead of abort. The word abhort is mentioned few dozen times while word abort is used in thousands of documents.
