Golden Teachers on Bulk Substrate

Are golden teachers good yielders? I'll be using straw and horse manure. The pictures i've seenj of gt's don't really show even pinning. My cambos covered my last cases but the potency left a bit to be desired.

Sure.. this is my first GT casing(60/40) from 3 PF cake.  Fairly even pinning if you ask me. :wink:

GT's are cool and produce monsters. I just picked the second flush of a straw casing with GT's. I didn't weigh the whole thing but the 7 biggest mushrooms total were 10 ounces (284 grams actually). First flush was about 3 ounces. A 40 quart rubbermaid with about 4-5 inches of substrate spawned with 3 quarts (or so) of rye. My pinning wasnt perfectly even, half finished one day..the other the next. HUGE clusters that made it difficult to pick the first flush. I think I have a pic up..

Thats the second half just after the first half was picked and patched. They got another inch bigger and much thicker. The second flush wasnt as many or clustered but they were BIG. I got some pics I should upload..ah well might as well now..

Pretty mushrooms and from what i've seen, they can grow, you should check out B+'s if you like em' big.
