 complete newbie at growing. need advice

I have never tried to grow any mycology projects before. I plan on doing this with a friend and I want to have as little maintenence as possible but with good chances of being successfull. I am not saying little maintence period just in relation to the rest you know? Everyday maintence is fine with us. Ok here are some questions that i could use some advice on....
1.What guide(s) should I go by?
2.What strain should I grow (I plan on doing Cubenesis species)?
3.What type of terrarium should I build?
4.How many jars would be a good amount to grow more than 2 ounces?
5.What should be my Jar/Needle ratio?
6.Where is a good place to get an innoculation needles w/ spores ready to use?

1.pf tek,mmgg, and read thru as many posts as you can
2.Treasure Coast,Cambodian
3.how much money do you have?
4.from a 1 pt jar of substrate you get about 18-30g wet(depending on how experienced you are)
5.if you have half pints i'd just squirt 1cc in each of the 4 holes per jar

dude, go with the pf-tek, stay away from the mmgg get hawaiians and pf classics ar B+, don't get treasure coast sorry BP but this race takes along time to fruit, cambodians are good if U plan to case them, get a 10 gallon fish tank are a rubbermaid, use perlite for humidity , 10 jars will give you your 2 ounces over a couple of flushes, 1/2cc per hole that's 2cc's ajar, get the syringes from pf, you can get 2 for 20 bucks and this will produce 20 jars if you use 1cc perjar. are you can see abut getting spores from 3M, captainmax 3 for 25, mjshroomer ( i can't remeber what he charges but he's a good one to,

Well tell me if this is a good idea... Build one in a recycling bin and instead of spraying using a fish tank bubbler and bubbling air into a dish of water to create humidity is that a good idea... Thats what I was planning to do like a recycling bin type thing with a windowed top (plexi glass or plastic wrap tell me if plastic wrap will work) and the bubbler... what else would i need to do for that idea? would the fish tank bubbler idea work?

i don't really want to do the casing as it could make things harder but if it is worth the extra effort someone please tell me and also tell me of a good way to do this...

casing isnt harder man, its easyier. its like the diference between fruiting raw naked cakes for a few shrooms. or fruiting an entire pan with added nutrients, spawning area, and bigger shrooms, as well as more subsequent flushes.
casing inst a question of convenience, its an ANSWER to yeild :) go for it, its definately worth it :)

i'm doing it for my first time also, I did one jar with just the cake on the lid, and the rest i cased, the only reason I did the one cake is because i wanted to get some shrooms ASAP. but i also wanted more. the cake has two that are about two days from picking, the casing is just now pinning, but they're quite a few, i'm very pleased. and i used "casing for dummies" tek for the casing.if i were you, i would do both, just play around, you don't have much to loose.

I crumbled and cased 4 brf cakes in a 6inch flat bottom bowl, put in dark covered with foil.3 days later knocked it out like a giant cake pasteurized verm,coir,and worm shit upside down it looked like 95% healthy mycelium, now 5 days later still looks healthy will I see pins or did I screw it up by taking it out of the casing...someone??

Why use pf Tek to get more than oz ...?
Grains are better.
Use any Ms syringe and go to agar then grain.
if you use pf tek do this
