Some Mush Questions for a COMPLETE newbie.

1. After you harvest your mushrooms, and dryed them properly, how long will it take before they are unconsumable/posionus/not safe?

2. What things can I do to have a better chance of having a good trip and not a bad one?

3. What are some signs of unconsumable/posionus/not safe, mushrooms?

4. How long are spore syringes usable for?

Lil info about me because this is my first post.

I am starting my first grow VERY soon, Hawiian from Fanaticus, probably, depending on the answer to #4, 3 cakes ( if the spore syringes last as long as it takes to grow/harvest the mushrooms. I'm using the standard PF-Tek method. I'll keep everyone updated on the growth. Peace

1:
It depends on the species and type of storage after the drying process. Some last months others last years.
2:
Stay calm and do not try to intercept the trip at all. Leave all your cares and worrys behind and totally go with the trip flow. It may seem different and scary at first but it should unfold into a spiritual + real nice experience.
Some people aint made for shrooms just all other drugs.
I personally hate "E" and "Speed"
3:
If it stains blue it is true. This is the main way for testing psilocybin content of a mushroom. Break the stem or cap and wait for signs of bluing to occur. Could take awhile or be real quick. I have noticed some do not stain blue, (Some Panaeolus species) so do not ingest unless you are 100% sure.
4:
Do not know alot about growing shrooms.

If they are grown and dried contaminate free and stored properly they will never be any of those three you might have a drop in potency if you plan on using them in the next decade but thats the worst of your worries........

take it when you're in a happy mood....... in a positive set and setting..... AND start out with a low weighed dose....... say take a gram (dried) if you've never taken shrooms before.......

=3. What are some signs of unconsumable/posionus/not safe, mushrooms?
I've heard that contaminated cakes don't fruit but I've also seen people say thats a myth and that sometimes they do....... Basically a bad odor weird colored mycelium are two things I guess......

=4. How long are spore syringes usable for?
3-4 months I think is what it says at sporeworks......
