do a google search on kombucha; That should give you all the info you need. The recipe I've been using, heat up a gallon of water [I use tap, they recommend better water] to near boiling, add about 3 cups white sugar, let dissolve. Then steep about 6 normal tea bags in this solution [I use a tea bell, and fill it with good loose tea] for 15 minutes or so. Be sure to let this solution cool completely before adding your culture. It's a pretty cool little ecosystem!
The above information is complete fiction.

Make sure you do all this in a completely sanitary setting otherwise there is a very real chance of harmful microorganism contamination.

Kombucha needs a tea that isn't too oily. My friend has a room FULL of jars. We've been trying different teas, and some have produced kick ass tea. It's nice to get an energy kick along with a de-toxifing tea. I'll pm you with some really good teas to use. There's one that make a really smooth, tasty tea, but the name eludes me at the moment.

Yeah, the best tea to date is pue erh or something. pronounced like poo-air! smooth. I wonder what a psilocybin containing tea would produce. BTW, if you ever want new kombucha's, I could "hook it up" with a few that are very, very healthy. We're talking over an inch thick!
