Day 9 - uncolonized area doesn't look much different. Though I think its filling in ever so slowly. Started lighting cycle- using a standard 25 watt bulb - 12 hrs. on 12 hrs. off.

Day 13 - one pin has been spotted in the center. The uncolonized area is much smaller now. I don't believe it will matter much in the long run. Once more pins appear I will post pics.

They will mature in 3 to 4 days. Sometimes less or longer, depending on your temparature. Thanks for the updates.

Heya Whereabouts... I was wondering how many ppl actually "see" the subliminal images I put in that banner. I do that with a lot of my artwork. Those are some albino TC's :) Here are a couple other art pieces I made a while ago using other hidden images. Some ppl see them right off, others do not. Day 14 - A dozen or so pins have appeared evenly scattered over the surface. No pinning on the sides yet. Looks like everythings is going great. The puddles of yellow water aren't so pretty to look at.

Don't bother with all the water it will be soaked up when the whole thing fruits.

Day 15 - more and more pins. It's only pinning on the surface, I haven't seen any on the sides (strange!). Here's a pic ,sorry about the quality. There are more pins than you can make out in this pic. At least 20 . Oh, Ryche? Some pins have appeared on mear strands of mycelium clung to the wall. Will these pins mature even though they are not rooted well?

I kind of doubt the pins on the surface mycelium will do much. Similiar to when they fruit on agar in petri dishes. That is some nice art Ryche. Anyone spot the mushrooms in the earths message picture?
