For Agar-
How about the freezer? Would this further suspend the myc making it last longer?

How about karo/water-
Fridge and freezer both ok? I've been curious about this for a while now. Thanks.

Refrigerator works pretty well. Some people say that mycelium can be regenerated after freezing, but I wouldn't try it unless you put the mycelium in some glycerol first.

Slants are a much better choice for storage and myc placed under mineral oil in the slants will last for years in the fridge. I myself would never freeze cubie mycelium unless it was freeze dried.
