how do you get comfortable with yourself

Self acceptance, love and forgiveness are the tools being called for.  :heart: When you give those things to yourself, it's easier for others to give them to you as well. and if they can't then they have issues that are not your problem.

stop that ego dead in its tracks!

look around and ask yourself "is anything wrong"

if there is, do something about it

if not, then why worry at the moment?  even if its the first steps, why worry?

or you can ask, "what do i need right now to make this feeling go away?"

why are you making yourself feel uncomfortable?

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Just eat a bunch of food until you get bored or feel better. If that don't work get really drunk and go out for a drive in a populated area.

i ate some shrooms last night.i was looking for answers that for questions i didn't know.the things i realized me made me uncomfortable.i felt like it was so wrong to be a consumer of anything,food and products.We take from other people and things and we call ourselves lucky,i guess the lack of fairness bothers me and irratates me.Kind of like how can i live with myself knowing that.

I feel this way often, like I'm breaking apart witin unloved ignorant.
Try to realize with all the curses in the world the pain and fighting it's natural to feel empathy if nothing is particularly damaging in your life except for your own mind the suffering in this world can affect you
mentally physically spiritually, gain strength within and know that through your love the world will be a better place connect with the collective conciousness of love and acceptance.  and you are gorgeous for sharing your soul. with love alma        :heart:

unfortunatly, everything is in its right place.

you are staring your way of life and thinking in its "face" or more literally in its place of dwelling (inside of you).

here is one option:

the next time you take shrooms, take double the amount you last did. you obviously are looking for something... on your last hunt, you found some other things that you didnt expect. go deeper. you cannot resolve problems like that with psychotherapy of any sort, you cant think out of this one. metaphorically, your soul is tied up with floss by this realization. how to untie it? the more you struggle with it, the more uncomfortable it gets.

just go deeper. that is my answer.

eventually, you will go so deep, that the cord snaps. it will be funny, when you look at it afterwords... instead of being miserable by being absorbed in it... you will see that the whole of the situation, and the whole of that situations situation and so on, is totally absurd.

either way, take more, go deeper.

peace and understanding friend... everything is eventual, you just found that out.

Your identification with the Great Chain of Being - with nature - that life sometimes looks like small fish getting eaten by bigger and bigger fish until we devour the biggest tuna and swordfish - IS depressing. So is the fact that Americans are the biggest consumerist culture on the planet.

Do not become a 'pig.' Do not buy an obscenely large SUV and feel entitled to it while you drive your own self around and guzzle gasoline to be the biggest metal bully on the street. Outgrow the childish desire for 'new toys,' 'gadgets' that are built for males who never grow up ('the one who dies with the most toys wins' mentality - simple materialism). Do not eat like a pig, ruin your body, become addicted to food and place bigger demands on the health-care system.

Give thanks to GOD that you were born in a place where you have endless possibilities, but where you are free to choose what and how much of the things of the world you wish to consume ('you are what you eat,' AND what you 'consume' pun intended). Don't 'take in' the lies that perpetuate the hypnotic, mindlessly robotic behaviors of a desire-based culture-gone-wild. There is no Here-and-Nowness to this culture. No matter how much the furnaces of burning desire are fed, they will always be insatiable. Be Enlightened instead - good for the self-esteem, easy on the enviornment.
