How do you define yourself?

I am curious about how everyone here defines themselves.

Are you aware of how you define yourself?

What do you associate yourself with?  Is it your job?  The music you listen to?  Your hobbies?  Your friends or loved ones?

Also, to your knowledge, are there any stereotypical characters, or stereotypes that you resemble??

I would just like to hear you guys describe yourselves :laugh:

Everthing that was, is, and ever will be is made of the recycled hydrogen atoms utilized in the birth and death of stars that create all of the different elements found throughout the cosmos. We are made of "star-stuff." We are a means for the universe to know itself. We are all part of the self-expression of the universe itself. "God" is within you and without you everywhere and nowhere at once.

But don't worry about that "God" stuff. Go fix yourself a sandwich. It's just as worthwhile. Organized religion is bad news and everyone here already knows why hopefully. Besides, I am the ultimate God. God is second to me. I'm number one, motherfucker.Dont even gaze upon me with your naked eye.

how can you define yourself? There are too many things that cannot be defined, for me to define myself. Is that in itself a definition? I still dont know, i have an essence... thats about as close as im gonna get to finding a definate point. Its half implied, half definate. Together....  :eyemouth:

i never want to define myself. I don't want the answer to ever stop changing, know what i mean?

I associate myself with certain qualities, or hobbies. But it doesn't make me who i am, because if i were to lose interest, or gain interest, i'd still be me. i am who i am and that's all that i am.

you wont ever stop changing, you dont have to worry about that :smile: . Definitions are so how should i say... in the moment? They just fool you into thinking you understand a certain point... but things trail on those definitions... and peoples associations with them change.

I think ive tried to define myself, it didnt work, and what i realized was to not try to set limits for myself. Why? Why keep restriction on yourself? I think there is a way you can move yourself though, be zen? heh heh heh
