I wager that the self is merely a fragment of a more complex Self.

Implying such a deep meaning as I think you are using, how can it then be possible for the self to be a true Messiah, when the Self, relative to the self, is more free?

You can only set yourself free. I don't care how many Messiahs pave the road ahead of you, if you do not take the first step you'll never be free. I am not trying to be deep...this idea is all on the surface, and quite obvious.

Self denotes a seperation from external existence.

How can the totality of existence, it'self', be a Self? Unless you just mean a higher being - but not the highest - in which case it's only a matter of relativity and not objective importance.

As well, your interpretations of their messages, infact EVERYTHING you experience is self manifested. The sound vibrations from the "prophet's" mouth did not cause the change.

Since I agree I will give my answer.

It is the higher self that saves the lower self from fear and ignorance to it's own inner darkness.

May I add to this topic, to consider the idea that the second coming of Christ is about raising up the Christ Consciousness within.

I was refering in terms of a higher state of existance; but not the highest, as it has been brought up... Such a state cannot be discussed by the 'tongue'.

May I add to this topic, to consider the idea that the second coming of Christ is about raising up the Christ Consciousness within.


A rather interesting concept, if you were to consider that 'from within' is a much larger place.


What could the "Christ['s] Consciousness" be?

Could there be something coming towards everyone in relation to where their minds are currently residing?

Then you'll never have a chance at freedom. All you got is just a chance anyway you may as well take it. Acheiving the freedom is never as important as the quest for it. It is not the destination that matters, but the journey. Once you near the end you realize that it is just a little farther.

setting yourself free is a matter of letting go what holds you in mental and emotional bonadage or from the things, beleifs and ideas you are a slave to.

Freedom is multifaceted. It is spiritual, mental, and physical. Total freedom is near impossible to acheive, but we should strive for it continuosly, because it is a worthy goal.

The struggle for freedom starts at birth, and it should end only at death...go down in the fight for it. Many get sidetracked soon after birth and become like cows.

Striving for anything is what prevents the freedom though. We came from pure freedom, yet our continuing complication of ideas and matter is what's preventing us from returning home.
