Looking for a well rounded art forum

Hi.

I'm looking for an Art based forum. One that brings artists from all walks of life together to share thier experiences and to share different skills, and show thier work.

This site would be friendly to both newbs and veterans of art. But will have a good amateur/closet artist base. You might be able to learn how to start up some silk screening, water colours, or carving...all of it can be shared.

So is there anything even remotely like this on the net? Just a well rounded art forum with a little bit of everything?

well I doubt you'll find many forums that include everything you listed AND have good content in them, but for 2d art (drawing, painting, etc), I've found www.conceptart.org to be outstanding

I was thinking of mentioning deviant art, but I decided that, while it encompasses a ton of mediums, it isn't a very good forum.... or at least the sections I visited were populated 99% by 16 year old kids who watched too much anime, and the other 1% were arrogant, talentless assholes who "knew" a lot but had very little actual skill.

i don't know about the forum quality.. but there's some damn good artwork on deviant art. especially the photographs.. and the fetish ones.. mmmmmmmmmmmm.

go to www.eatpoo.com and try your luck there
its the best art forum ive seen.
my brother is a regular there.

yeah, I was thinking of mentioning eatpoo as well, but if you're not a grand master, I wouldn't post anything.... they love to mock and ban people who aren't super amazing artists.
