Your favorite artistic expression and why?
    #2533478 - 04/06/04 11:06 PM (20 years, 6 months ago)

What are the artistic forms you like the most

1) Music , it makes you travel, understand things, see with new eyes among other things. Music is one of the most instictive ways of expressing how we feel and what we are. Ver yabstract stuff can be understood because of music.
2) Books novels and general writting , they are after the music because they can also have some very deep meanings but they are restricted by words.
3) Visual Arts, it's very esthetic and makes you think a lot. It's like an exploration in the artists mind. How he sees his surrounding.
4)Movies, It would of had been placed higher but I think that our society is ruining this art by trying to commecialize it. Nonetheless some rare movies are very mind blowing.

The arts I don't understand are modern dance and poetry.

Music, because it's what I'm best at, and because it has elements that are both abstract(instrumentation) and concrete(lyrics). I can get much more involved with music I'm listening to than art I'm looking at. However, I find the best experience is an audi-visual one, so visual art is important too.

music.....i think it has a stronger effect on your mind and emotion than any other form of art, at least for me.. it's like a drug that's administered through hearing...

Ditto to that, music is definitely the strongest form of expression for me.

I tend to think of the music I listen to as being the soundtrack to my life. That's the best way I can explain the concept, anyway.

Music. No other form of art can completely change you as much as music.

Indeed, I think I'd have to go with music aswell.  Although I do love all forms of art, music is one thing I actually feel content working with
