I think the US issue, is that you are too big and too fractured into a number of states, where life is just different enough that a wide spread united uprising is incredibly unlikely.

though you DO have nation wide movements like Civil rights and the LGBT movement of the 90s/00s that were outrageously succesful.

I don't know how you'd apply that strength to leverage against the system that is impoverishing you(and thus us) right now.. but I hope for it.

France already over spends on ita gdp.  There isn't any money to give. But what you guys are arguing with is political riots shouldn't be punished. My prison colony idea has worked the past to keep civil order . I didn't make this about immigration which I could do with population decline graphs if you wanted me to.
I just think there riots aren't about that as most western European nations have been forced immigrants onto there soil. In attempt to keep social security spending level as native European don't breed at replace rates. Which will get me on abortion right talks none of which is the point of this thread.

"Mélenchon's Remarks: Mélenchon, head of the hard-left La France Insoumise (France Unbowed) party, has defended the right to protest and blamed government incompetence and police provocations for the escalating chaos. When asked about injured officers, he brushed off the question by remarking that it goes with the territory of policing."

The left party's in France just want to roit and kill and burn everything in there path because its fun.  They don't have a political message of what they really want accept a easier living which no nation have ever been about to maintain.

Why is that so hard to believe? What is the point of society if not to take care of our basic needs?

It comes down to unity.  People have to be able to come together and discuss ideas, especially when they disagree.  Bipartisan politics are designed to divide people, to prevent us from uniting behind a common purpose.  This is the "Divide and Conquer" strategy most people have heard of, but misunderstand.  Divide the people amongst themselves, so they are easier to conquer.

If everyone saw the whole of it, the real big picture, finding a solution would be easy.  But to really see the truth of it requires critical thinking and an advanced perspective that can only be acquired through years of questioning what you know to be true.  Our modern educational systems are designed to teach us what to think, when what we really need to learn is how to think.  Most people seem to lack the raw conceptual frameworks to process simple logic, identify common fallacies, or account for their own personal biases.  As a result, most people still believe that crows are black and countries exist in the physical world.

That's some communists think tank shift if I've ever heard it. You want people to come together and agree with eachother is been possible unless genocide happens.

You and I disagree on a lot of things and no education system could ever fix that.  Your basis is the government is there to help people while I know it's there to oppress people.
You believe in a infinite pool of resources for all people to be happy and free with friendship.  While I know zero sum is reality.  Thus nothing I can post here regardless of facts, mathematics, government sources can persuade you.  Thus nothing you post on an emotional basis here will change me and said logic.

The idea that what's currently happening with the riots is still primarily about 'education' or 'cost of living', is ridiculous.  Those initial legitimate causes have now been hijacked by the opportunistic radical ones, which nowadays seem to always be waiting in the shadows for the right time to latch on and take over.  We've seen it in the United States with many of the legit protests which turned into riots similarly...with the same ol' rabid crew of hive-minded leftists, joined together with their 'progressive' communist, islamist, and terrorist sentiments in a barbaric mob of stupidity while waving their Palestinian and Soviet flags.

What makes it far worse with the situation in Europe is that the millions of anti-Western folks they've imported from the third world, are now there to help out with destroying their countries.  Most of these people despise Western values, have zero respect for the culture of the host country that's taken them in, and use the liberal Western values of tolerance against it...viewing kindness as weakness and taking full advantage of it.  Btw, this sort of shit would be much closer to happening sooner in the US if Kamala would've won.

I can imagine still believing it's simply civil unrest due to concerns about education and cost of living, if you happen to believe a brain-dead take such as this one, which I saw the other day -

The way she is framing what's happening as the video imagery plays, is hilarious (also, check out the comment section lol).  There's hardly any native French citizens to be seen (or actual  Italians in the riots happening in Milan, for that matter), let alone 'students'.  They've imported the third world into their countries, and the effects are now glaringly obvious.

One the often used arguments for proof of Christianity's legitimacy is the success it's had in Europe and later through many other places via imperialism. Christianity has to be good, has to be an eternal truth or it would not see this type of continued sucess.

I guess the same is true for Islam. It's success proves it's an undeniable truth. Especially so if it can operate within Christian strongholds.

lmao , can you explain what a french citizen is supposed to look like ? im not sure if you realise but french 'citizens' come from all ethic backgrounds and all religions.

... or would you not consider black /brown / (insert any other colour)  to not be french due to the colour of their skin? (im presuming thats the marker you are using as you cant really make out much else on that video)

also , do you use the same logic on americans?
