 I've got some of ur genetics I'm cleaning up right now :amanita2:

it looked so cool from spore germination whatever it did it caused cracks in the agar n looked like broken glass almost

Can tell it's gonna be a cool one already and am extremely impatient

Ayy the TTBVI transfers I did 10/11 onto the LN agar are just starting to show some growth. So far I see no new growth in the WA plates.

This one had a piece of Agar that came with it and looks shiny and bac-y. I know my camera is potato and you can’t see much, once it’s bigger I will open it and take a good picture.

Yep still a bit early to make a judgment but what do you mean by baccy?

Some water accumulating around the transfer and initial faint growth happens and is fine.

So like instead of being able to see the organized myc reaching out, it has that dull shine similar to when you get a halo, and it seems to be completely covering the new growth, I don’t see any myc reaching above the surface, where as the other plate, I can clearly see the tiny pieces of myc reaching out in all directions and already see a tiny amount of surface myc.  Definitely too soon to tell what it will be like overall, I agree. Just some observations. The other one was just a small aerial myc transfer, and I’m hoping it looks better.

WEZA x PAN IND01 I am loving how these are coming out...
but hmm, I dunno...
:aweshit:
It seems normal for WEZA but fast-pins don't seem typical for INDO1 It's still pretty early though my friends 🥳
So I will bring food 🍔 you guys get the drinks while we wait 🍻

Mean green germinated on 3 spots like a 1/30th the size of grain of rice before I noticed n cut it out in a attempt to save this cabin sequester xD. This is the THIRD cabin sequester on this kamodoxbvi just to make sure it's clean

It's stupidly quick this is like 30 hrs after transfer I think

Does it look ok to u guys? It was super super dense in earlyer transfers

Looks like mold to my eyes.  Especially if that’s a day and half of growth

This took 12 days and it’s a pretty fast moving pan culture

That myc on your plate is also very non-uniform as in it’s not moving out radially from the center point.  It’s going in every direction.  That’s a characteristic of mold mycelium

Posted this as a post but wanted to ask here as well,

So Ive got a pan cyan tub (1:2 millet to manure base) that I messed the conditions up on, and the few pins I did get aborted quite quickly and the spawn/bulk mix itself seemingly got pretty dried out. It had a small 1/4-1/8th inch casing layer of peat/vermiculite but I was wondering if it would be possible to rehydrate and recombine with fresh substrate (would bring the total ratio to 1:4) and attempt to recycle the grow and start fresh if it doesnt recover. Does anyone have any experience with this or know if its viable? Thanks.

Breaking it up to recombine with fresh substrate seems too disruptive since the mycelium is already stressed, I'd leave the network intact and would
just rehydrate it, keep conditions up, applying a fresh casing maybe.

You have photos?

How did you cross the two? I’ve a suspicion that they won’t naturally pair up as they are genetically too distinct. I’d agree that it’s too early for IND-01 pins, they are also phentotypically dissimilar.
