I agree. But in my darker moments I wonder if I've been bamboozled all along by my own brain

Facing my fears
They said it would help
But I've only gotten myself stuck
Under Sisyphus' boulder
Flattened like a pancake
And totally useless

Because I ate all the bullshit
About self-improvement
And forgot about self-transcendence
Which is about knowing one's self
From a vast landscape

An infinite canvas
Stretched beyond all boundaries
Ballooned past imaginings
And unfettered from fakery

Thanks! It makes me think of the idea of “spiritual materialism”… or maybe another way to put it, is investing too much in the development of form, the body, the personality, and forgetting it is all a mirage anyways

Falsely following the proper prophets
I got off the trail at the wrong turn
And found myself freaking down by the river
(The fractardlian freakazoid fructured fork fock)
Where whales wallop mighty spray-punches
from ocean tides
Which crept up the water-way
And wound their way like the anacondas of old

To the same spiraling sink-hole
Down the pipe
And out the Other Side
Where whales wallow soulfully
And souls swallow fireflies
Flocking fires dot the Night Sky

Forest foretell
The ancient Way to Hell
And the Night is lit up by sparkling
Soul-fires
Perspective-nodes of the New Universal Mind
Through which I see out
The same Primordial Drop
Of the dragonfly mind-Eye
Good-Bye

64 lines of code, this et is finally going home!

when math makes a person completely comply
a person can’t count but they still can try
the components together, the vectors they tie
the angle secures them as forces apply
untangle one loop and the others will fly
the rest of the structure waving goodbye
the strands are all woven and tangled in high
the paths crosses over as time travels by
the twist in the ribbon will fool your own eye
one side and one edge, you’ll wonder on why
inside is outside, where one can’t deny
it drinks its own drink, and never stays dry
the topological helix is wound to the sky
the code is unzipped as the cells multiply
the symmetry operations begin to magnify
inverse permutations shall cleanly nullify

the function accelerates straight through the gate
while derivative calculates changes of state
the tangent line maps slope to first-rate
the phase-space trajectories linearly abate
the data points scatter and shift on the slate
residual sums will determine the weight
while nested tori continuously rotate
the hyper-manifold expands to dilate
the linear system evaluates straight
eigenvalues align while tensors equate
the vertices couple and closely relate
webs intricately mesh to collate
the binary options, triplet triangulate
the algorithms run and logic dictates
the actual values are hard to truncate
as infinite functions alone approximate

the topology seals a holomorphic lock
seconds tick down on the logorithmic clock
the curves of the knot, now a geometric block
cavitation forces leaving pits and a pock
the vertices connect in a network-node walk
but the matrix is not fixed like a crystalline rock
the strategies merge as the tensors all flock
the nash equilibrium stops any shock
stochastic variables parsed by the doc
prime number keys set the barrier at mach
imaginary numbers sit taking up stock
grid lines transform on the axis one chalks
standard deviation gathers inside of a crock
hidden parameters are what one must grok
if the function hits a boundary where variables balk
numbers approach zero, infinitesimals they stalk

the strands of the cable, tightly entwined
mathematical link, completely aligned
scatter plot points, all clearly defined
the slope of the average, steeply inclined
values approach what the curve has designed
the function is continuous, stable, and kind
the vectors intransformalize the grid is resigned
spatial dimensions, cleanly combined
the subsets of numbers, strictly confined
when elements fit where logic’s enshrined
the laminate surfaces are flatly streamlined
about crossing points that are duly twin-signed,
basis components, cleanly consigned
parallel planes, completely interlined
mandelbrot patterns, sharply refined
and the sequence of primes … is there intertwined!

A system of tubes
To carry me through
Nonsense all glue
Sticking to me, Blue

But I won't let it get me
Jealous of the jiffy
I'll just sit here tight
And meditate upon my marcasite

Which opens the parameters
Metaphysically
To the Attic Upstairs
No really!

Where I communicate
Through folds of 8
'Till tubes of infinity
Let me on through

Tubular tabletops
Space-Time curvature
Rickety snapple pops
The Soul's stable furniture

I take a seat,
Glad to be home
Ridin' to the drum-beat
Of the circular cochlear spiral spectral space Dome

Speaking of star ships
I was seeking the Cosmic Lip
At the edge of universe
But all I found
Was a round tele-tubular penis tip
To finish this third verse

Beneath the shady pines
There's something so divine
It's both yours and mine
It's all intertwined

And just like a vine
We're on an endless climb
If you can take the time
To read between the lines

You'll find the signs

The ever present threat of silence
Haunts the modern mind,
Who leaps and jumps from this to that.
Silence, he has no time.

For under the crushing weight of quiet,
fallacy holds no ground.
The pursuit loses its meaning, all delusion is unveiled, he see’s the truth for what it is, “I’ve been a dog, chasing his tail”.

So the modern mind steers clear the void,
For this simple truth too painful,
That ashes to ashes, and dust to dust.
“But, it can’t be true, forward I must.”
“Forward in the pursuit, and forward in time”
“Surely there is reason, for which I must find”

But a rift in perception has now opened, and it can’t be ignored, as one should be careful, when opening such doors.

So pursue the truth or not, it’ll all end the same, only that maybe knowing these terms, will help you navigate the game.

Big Brother's Watching

Watching and patrolling
interposing and interjecting
Beseeching and cajoling
Officiating and heckling

Contextomy of actions
Importunate of spirit
Wholes split into fractions
Bias when he hears it

condescending and pedantic
no I did not mispronounce
Pacific meets Atlantic
A tampering accent pounce

Be a good neighbor
And stay over there
Was he invited this way
to meddle and stare?

It's almost not fair
but almost doesn't count
He's paid for his share
can't exceed his amount

Don't mess with the family
please do get a life
don't trample and trammel
it's unsafe that dull knife

When the laughter's not mutual
When I don't share his giggles
that attempt at his play
both sides against the middle.

He says, "use it or lose it"
I say, get out of my face
his volumes not wit
his wisdom's disgraced.

Buds
When you stuck in a drug run
Drug game
One rubs
Back and forth as scratch
As ones as
One run had the ton of Cannabis
Hand it back and forth the Spliff
I sip
Liquids
Kick it
Smoke Buds
I known as flow
Suns over
Overgrow
That’s how my Buds come from
One Love
With the Dragon
Buds are my thing
I got a Wing

I move
You get tuned into Groove Street
Keep
Touching no sleep
Till what’s
One as front does and wants
Once
As come as for
Run
Toward
I walk a Street Morgue
Transform
Into Medicine
Then again
And again
My lens
I see through all the breeze blew
I freeze
True as up to TCM
Traditional Chinese Medicine

I am in Flower
In Medicine
Spreading
Through the Garden
Bed
As I made it
I stayed with the Soil under Sun
Water
The Light
All the night I take in
Then
I render
Flavor
A Harvest
The largest as I run under the Once as
From the Dust and a Seed
I grow into the
Food that Feeds
It's Medicine
I know as the Setting Sun
All the people from the land
Lend a hand
To cultivate

You scared to death
Pull the Trigger
Careless
Gunshots
Every time you
Know not
I flow so hot I roll
Caught
Up in the Matrix
Try Pot
Smoking
Fighting techniques of the Wu Tang
And don’t bang

Imbibe the liquid slime
Of cacti climbing high
To sunsets far away
And mountains made of clay
Which emanate
The figure 8
To infinities
Through secret seas
I and I
Is flyin' high
The seagull's wings
The ocean sings
A song I heard
The spoken word
Alive at last
From stern to mast
A crow's nest
The shadow's death
And finally
Creepily
We close the curtain
To down the bourbon

Enough

If I exhaust myself completely enough
That I must exhale so deeply
My body becomes concave

Maybe then...
If I conspire with my pet boa constrictor
To wring all the air out from myself
Like filth from a washcloth

Maybe then...
If I send my blueing fingers down my throat
To extract what little oxygen may remain
Stuck in the lining of my lungs

Maybe then,
I could use that breath to say I am
Good enough.
