Facing my fears
They said it would help
But I've only gotten myself stuck
Under Sisyphus' boulder
Flattened like a pancake
And totally useless

Because I ate all the bullshit
About self-improvement
And forgot about self-transcendence
Which is about knowing one's self
From a vast landscape

An infinite canvas
Stretched beyond all boundaries
Ballooned past imaginings
And unfettered from fakery

Thanks! It makes me think of the idea of “spiritual materialism”… or maybe another way to put it, is investing too much in the development of form, the body, the personality, and forgetting it is all a mirage anyways

I got off the trail at the wrong turn
And found myself freaking down by the river
(The fractardlian freakazoid fructured fork fock)
Where whales wallop mighty spray-punches
from ocean tides
Which crept up the water-way
And wound their way like the anacondas of old

To the same spiraling sink-hole
Down the pipe
And out the Other Side
Where whales wallow soulfully
And souls swallow fireflies
Flocking fires dot the Night Sky

Forest foretell
The ancient Way to Hell
And the Night is lit up by sparkling
Soul-fires
Perspective-nodes of the New Universal Mind
Through which I see out
The same Primordial Drop
Of the dragonfly mind-Eye

The ever present threat of silence
Haunts the modern mind,
Who leaps and jumps from this to that.
Silence, he has no time.

For under the crushing weight of quiet,
fallacy holds no ground.
The pursuit loses its meaning, all delusion is unveiled, he see’s the truth for what it is, “I’ve been a dog, chasing his tail”.

So the modern mind steers clear the void,
For this simple truth too painful,
That ashes to ashes, and dust to dust.
“But, it can’t be true, forward I must.”
“Forward in the pursuit, and forward in time”
“Surely there is reason, for which I must find”

But a rift in perception has now opened, and it can’t be ignored, as one should be careful, when opening such doors.

So pursue the truth or not, it’ll all end the same, only that maybe knowing these terms, will help you navigate the game.
