So i submitted two poems to a poetry contest on poetry.com a few months back. The thing is that i have gotten email from first poetry.com informing me that my poem is in the semi final and that they want to publish it in a some kind of anthology. today another english company emailed me asking if they could use my work, naturally they where also offering me to buy their anthology.

So i highly suspect that this is just clever ways of selling books to people.
Do you have any experience with poetry.com?

They are, I have recieved one of those via snail mail for every poem I have ever submitted, so has my friend. Not only do they want to not pay you for your poem they will make monry from, they make you pay to get the book it will be in.
