what makes the borosilicate ones hard to work with?

They're very fragile. I once dropped an entire PC'd stack of 10, and none of them survived.

They also have a large gap between the lid and base. You have to wrap them really well otherwise contams will make their way in.

They are heavy and slide around like a hockey puck if you stack them :slider:

I knew I was running low on plates and finally placed an order- used to pay 60 bucks for a case of 500, now 110, and 4 week lead time . Should have ordered earlier. They are effectively sterile because they are sleeved immediately when manufactured, and I don't think molten plastic can truly harbor bacteria or mold.

Can't believe I didn't think of that. I bought a shit ton from a restaurant supply house way back and the lids were wrong, ended up pitching the lot and never trying them. Just ordered a bunch (from a different place!).

With plastic plates I can stack them, lift the stack, pour each one from the bottom up in no time. Glass slides around, doesn't stack for shit. Once they're wrapped it's not so bad, but pouring sucks.

I thought about trying them, but I really really like the clarity of disposable plates. I probably will give them a go at some point.

PC plates have the same clarity at least for a while. They'll eventually get scratched up but it takes a while to be noticeable and you can minimize/prevent it with tool choice

Glad to try and be back! I took care of some stuff in my grow room, cleaned it up a bit and redid some monotubs. Gonna reorganize it this weekend and go through the grain to see if any is worth using :p

No link, I played with a few different flours with PF Tek back in the day.  Same ratios.  I also have an experiment running now Here .  I've used the following flours:
Rye
Wheat
Millet
Wbs
Masa
Corn
Brf
All these either bought as flour or ground and sieved myself.

-Kingboomer

P.S. the experiment I'm running uses ground hemp hurd, the recipe for that is in my signature.

Edit:
I've also used the original supercake formula but don't recommend it due to the insane cost.

Not a single living human has ever been able to reach their full potential.  This is an imperfect world, and we are but products of our environment.  But you shouldnโ€™t let that get you down; after all, imperfections are what give gemstones their value.

Well to compensate for that, your partner isn't perfect either. Turns out we're all just hairy grumpy monkeys dreaming of being a Disney princess. Or some dumb action figure with muscular ears. Because you're (likely) a woman, society dictates you should want to be a princess.

Be pretty, have a soft voice, waist the size of a fist, be modest. And if you don't know what to do, you just dance with the birds because princesses don't have jobs.

Then someone farts and we all realize we're just filthy caged monkeys. It's all good. None of the perfect images you see are real. None of the crap about 'perfect wives' or 'real men' or whatever bs, actually describes us. Only cats are perfect.
