Very, very gradually making my way thru Spark of the Everflame.  When Diem is being a dumbass, it's fun.  Most of the time, though, it's boring as fuck and my ADHD screams incessantly at me.

Reading Barefoot Investor by Scott Pape.

It's pretty good. Mostly relevant to Australians but useful for bare basics budgeting.

I'm on Jurassic Park as my main book right now, maybe halfway. My reading has slowed to a crawl right this moment but I like Crichtons snappy writing style. Been cool so far.

Going to do a little nonfiction sunday morning though with "Shaking hands with death" by Terry Pratchett, his speech about altzheimers made into a book and a little of Max Adams "The Wisdom of Trees"

I've got one on the way, on someones recc, and Crowleys translation of Tao Te Ching. Should be cool.

@ Ella I totally forgot to say, I hope you enjoy it if you check that Terry Pratchett one. To sau it's about alzheimers doesn't cover it. Also about our own rights around death, a very short but worthwhile read.

@DQ I remember you mentioning it fondly, that being Crowleys Tao Te Ching, or the 'Ko Yuen Translation'.
I couldn't get an 'official' or proper "Tao Teh King, Ko Yuen" type version right now- they were 95 quid plus.
I had to get a reprint for a much more managable fee, that the listing just had this cover:


I was reading it on luminist archives but the version seems gone.

'seven sermons to the dead' was cool, it's a short read but obviously one to go back to. Solid alegory to Gnostic ideas and Jungs own reckoning of them. It's not an absolute blaster, but it's stylish & concise. Good to get the cogs turning.
Still waiting on the other one to arrive, taking library books back today too so I'll likely finish Jurassic Park in the meantime I'm just not hungry for fiction right now.
