Book Club Idea

There are so many good books out there that I would like to read, but when someone lists them here, then I go find them/read them the time delay kills the whole discussion part. I was curious how many people would like to form an online book club. Have a list of books contributed by the members and then read on every month or so, or discuss a few chapters a week. If I knew how to code a poll I would put one here:

But I am lame in that regard. Is this a good/bad idea. Are there anyothers that would join me? Hard to get new perspectives on a book all by yourself
I would prefer books that can be found at the local library because I am cheap and don't want to own tons of books that I will never touch again (I only buy reference books and scientific journals). Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I too am short on funds, and depend on used book strores and the library to find reading material.

I think since trying to get Shroomerites too meet at a time/place is like trying to herd cats.

Post your Book, and anyone interested will read it. I had expressed interst in this idea earlier, so Im all for it.
I was going over some of the older posts, and it seems all that happens is the Poster gets Pissed, due to lack of Postees.

It's a good idea but I am never able to find the books I'm looking for. I just tend to stumble across good books. Seeking out specific ones always results in disappointment for me
