Greetings to everyone, hope you're well. I tried magic mushrooms for the first time in March of 2025. I was working in an area where they were decriminalized and had a few days off. In the year+ since then, I've been lurking here and bought my first LCs, built monotubs, lost grows to contam, saved grows by burying them in the back yard, started doing agar work, bought a laminar flow hood, have developed a library of cultures, and am now trying to learn how to cultivate gourmet and medicinal mushrooms, in the pursuit of turning this hobby (hyperfixation) into a way of life. To say that psilocybin has been life changing is an understatement.
I hope to continue to use this phenomenal resource of a forum for years to come, and even contribute, when I'm more confident in my abilities.

Hello everyone, first of all huge respect to all that contribute here. I've been lurking on these pages for 12 months and fluked a few grows last year. Now I'm consistently growing Trich and hoping to improve in someway or another. I'm experienced in taking medicines and needed a cost effective way of helping myself and my mental health that isn't prescription antidepressants. I have fallen in love with watching these fungi grow its amazing to learn about them. It's been a simple choice for me, be part of this movement and help my own mental health whilst hopefully normalising use and putting pressure on governments to open up at the very least regulated access. Could this medicine improve some peoples lives maybe? In our local community we've lost 4 people to suicide in 10 months. Could these fungi have helped? Maybe? If antidepressants with their dangerous side effects are normalised then there is definitely a case for this type of medicine, and that's why I'm here. Love to you all.

Thank you for sharing the positive experience mushrooms are having in your respective lives. Can 100% relate with sustainable and natural medicine for mental health. Also looking forward to the use of mushrooms being normalized over time. Ancient medicine with this kind of potential shouldn't be illegal and prosecuted.
