New farm ventilation plan
    #29624226 -

Hi!

Scaling up and moving to new premises next month and trying to come up with a plan how to set up my new farm. I've made this initial plan regarding ventilation, filtering, air flow, air pressures and ducting:

The idea is to only use positive pressure, the only negative pressure will be in exhaust between FC's and outside. This way I can control and filter the air, reducing contamination risks.

I use sliding doors which are not fully sealed. The main exhaust fans pulls the FC air outside, leaving just a slight positive pressure to them from the FC intake fans. So only a tiny amount of FC air gets back to the corridor, gets mixed with the new air, filtered and then sent back to the FC.

And from the work area there will be a duct with a filter to move some air to the fruiting area to save on heating/cooling costs. There's also a non-sealed sliding door between the areas, which is set to have slightly more pressure in the workspace side so no spores/humidity is allowed back to the work area.

I'll use a manometer to set the pressure levels.

Any thoughts? Cheers!

Ps. The dimensions, sizes and shapes of the rooms or building are not as in the picture, the pic is only about the air.

This looks very interesting, I hope some more experienced people chime in here so I can learn from you all. Just putting together my own martha to try and dip my toes into exotics, namely pans.
