Aw man, I'm so sorry to hear the bad news.

I just use this thread for support and the odd rant. I think your first response is perfect. Stick around it might keep the alcohol away a little longer.

This thread helps to get it of my chest and talk to like-minded individuals.

I'm relatively new here but it doesn't seem like your regular AA more just a place to support each other. Haven't heard God mentioned once since I joined a month ago. Seems much more relaxed but still supportive.

What worked for me was mushrooms. Maybe when you have gotten settled a bit a good trip will help you?

I'm no expert and just trying to help. I really wish you the best and hope you can overcome the alcohol again.

This too shall pass.

I've found Hap'e to be an amazing plant medicine also.  Addictive, but hey at least it's not crack!

Im thinking about going to a meeting tomorrow. I have never been besides when I was forced by mental health treatment.

Been drinking daily for a while im physically dependent by now. Chamomile tea is helpful but I feel sick still been feeling like throwing up randomly and have almost zero appetite. I still have a large amount of alcohol been 24 hours alcohol free.

I can't throw away the alcohol because it was expensive plus people I live with have more than me. I can also get alcohol really easily would take 5 minutes to buy more.

I want to get drunk so badly but it will make it worse.

If you've been drinking daily for quite a while, be prepared for the anxiety that can come with coming off booze.

Im not having any shaking at all anymore but can hardly eat food and have insomnia. I feel kinda sick and have a headache so im not going to a meeting today. I do think im improving but I had a beer last night at 1am because I couldn't fall asleep without it.

Do you smoke weed?

This is not advice you would find at an AA meeting. But to help me sleep while getting sober smoking a joint and taking two benedryl does the trick.

I smoke weed all the time it has almost zero effect by now. I feel way better feel asleep for a hour but my family woke me up for dinner I couldn't eat a lot felt like throwing up.

Im going back to sleep hopefully tomorrow I feel normal I really want to quit weed also for at least 3 weeks not permit.

I got some tabs of ALD-52 but every time I take psychedelics I don't enjoy it.

I am definitely going to quit alcohol I feel way better now I am going to try quitting weed.

When I take psychedelics I become really stressed and depressed because of my smoking start feeling like I cant breath properly and sometimes throw up or start shaking from stress. I only been using mushrooms and DMT in the last year though.

I thought it could also be my diet so for about a month I haven't been eating much red meat. I was eating hamburgers everyday because worked at a burger restaurant and got discount.

I think its been 2 months since using psychedelics I only smoked one bowl yesterday I am going to try being completely sober for a while. Hopefully the psychedelics will feel fun again in a few weeks when my brain isn't addicted to multiple things I am trying to quit nicotine also but use oral nicotine dont smoke.

Good on you for taking the steps to make the changes you need to. It's not easy, but you can do it.

If the smoke is choking you up and you can't drop the nic it's a good option to move to build your own vaping. Low power, no flavour, just nic in PG and VG. It's no where near as harmful as smoking, or even disposable vapes, and will give your body a break whilst you're dealing with the other stuff.
