Apologies, I didn't even realize which thread I was posting in and was a little drunk and high on the train, hence my edit.

Whenever I get around to it. I'll post my graveyard of old sprayers that I stopped using because I realized they contained lead.

Again, didn't mean to rain on your parade, just threw my $0.02 in on the subject of misting without even realizing where I was.

Welcome to the shroomery. Message ythan for your complimentary "Please Be Patient: I Am Autism" sticker and matching set of cosmetic misters, one for water and one for 91% isopropyl. Do not label them.

Look, this is the first place I ever posted here.

I think it'll be alright.

While I apologized for inadvertently raining on your parade, I am not sorry for shitposting the point I had to make. If a thread can go off the rails that quickly, then it wasn't worth much to begin with. But, again, I think this thread in particular is fine without your policing.

Hello World! 👋

I just pulled the trigger on this beast! Very excited for it! It'll be a great addition for serial dilution. The temperature will work great for simultaneously pre cleaning spores (thanks Stipe!) and encourage germination of stubborn spores.

And oh! Are we talking about sprayers? I just got this the other day too! It's so badass!!!

Damn! That is sliiiiick! :justastonishing:

Im thinking of buying a pair of 4" Duct-to-Wall Dryer Exhaust Hose connector parts and retrofitting them into my SAB. Has anyone ever attempted this before?

Exotics can be a pain to print, brittle fragile stipes,
or they don't print dark or some caps are just sort of sterile.

I got a mirror tool so I can check easily!

Quadruple gay cancels itself twice. Unfortunately I think going twice cancels that out and you still may be gay.

Blobs don't exactly present very well after drying but if you powder them they're instantly transformed into pixie dust!

Trying this out for long term storage. 185 grams of powder stuffed tightly into a wide moth then vacuum sealed.

I'm guessing theres all kinds of jar vaccum sealers like that now. Is that one as good as the rest?

That's the only one I've used but it works well. Cordless and works on wide and regular mouth jars. Around $50 on Amazon. The coffee grinder I use is just a small $20 one from Amazon. Maybe took 15 minutes of fill, grind, dump, repeat to pack that jar. After I sealed the jar it settled a bit. Im gonna try to stuff 200g in there.

I started pulverizing mushrooms in the "dry grains" container on my Vitamix and never looked back. Though my cheap coffee grinder could barely fit anything at all, so it probably would have taken me at least twice as long to grind as much as you did.

I used to store most of my dried mushrooms in freezer bags with some desiccant packs. But they almost all got a bit bendy after a recent basement water incursion that resulted in pretty high humidity down there while I was drying out the floor. So it's all glass jars from now on.

Starting to dig the idea of storing most of them in powdered form in vacuum sealed jars. How much more weight do you figure you can store that way - like 5 times compared to lightly stuffing whole dried fruits in a jar?

I started throwing ziplocks in a food grade 5gal bucket. I put a desiccant pack in the bags and then have some loose in the bucket as well. No issues yet, and it frees up jars.

Grinding is solid too and you can fit a lot in a jar. I think I made a rough estimate while making capsules, but I can't remember how much was in a jar of powder.

Ah, yeah, I'll bet the thick HDPE is a lot less permeable to water than the plastic film of a bag. I'll give that a shot, thanks!
