Following the January 6th insurrection, concerns about right-wing extremist violence have increased in the United States. Research and data from organizations like the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) indicate that right-wing extremists are the most likely perpetrators of extremist-related murders in the US.

Key Findings:

    2021:
        29 extremist-related murders in the US.
        Most were committed by right-wing extremists.
        Motivation was primarily white supremacy and anti-government sentiments.
        This includes newer types of extremism like QAnon adherents, the "manosphere" and anti-vaccination extremists.
    2022:
        27 extremist-related murders.
    2023:
        Information is still being compiled and figures may increase over time.
    2024:
        13 extremist-related murders.
        A significant portion of these killings in recent years were driven by white supremacist attacks against racial and religious minorities.

Notable Incidents:
    May 2022: A white supremacist committed a mass shooting at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York, killing 10 Black shoppers.
    May 2023: A neo-Nazi with misogynist leanings shot up a Texas mall, killing 8 people.

Overall Trends:
    While the overall number of domestic terrorism incidents and deaths has fluctuated, the motivation for such violence remains heavily skewed towards right-wing ideologies.
    Right-wing extremist attacks were significantly more likely to be lethal than those committed by other extremist groups in 2021.
    Firearms are the primary weapon used in extremist-related murders, accounting for 79% over the past 10 years.

I keep my 9mm and an extra magazine on me after the last fight I got into like 3yrs ago.. I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it...you never know what the hell is gonna happen while you're out having dinner or some shit🤷‍♂️...

I'm not gonna fight someone three times bigger than me ever again...I won the fight, just felt like I got ran over by a car for two days afterward and my sciatic nerve fucked with me for a month
