I saw them at Bonnaroo, Columbia Meadows and the Gorge, I think they fucking smoke and even gotten better since last year.

yea, i didnt get to go to the gorge this year, but i saw them at the gorege last year, and that was fucking bad ass.

The westcoast scene is best!
The Gorge was very sweet. I liked it's vibe this year better then the Red Rocks vibe.

I can only catch a few more shows this summer. I'm going to get kicked out of grad school if I take any more time off. Like to see them in  NY for two nights though. NY crowds are one of the best. Lot's of energy.They have always seemed to feed off that and perform better. :thumbup:

The Gorge is very magical. I hope to make it next year! Columbia meadows was wonderful this year though.

yea, red rocks has too many locals, i think the gorege is much better.... i wasnt impressed with the whole redrocks scene, the cops were bieng bastards.... but they lightened up toward the end, but still.... i was at the gathering, and didnt get to go to the gorge... the gathering was still great though...cept for the ancient indian burrial ground thing.

Yeah the gathering seemed fucked up with the murders and the native burial grounds, a group of friends of mine ended up very good friends with local indians over the entire deal though, some of them loved what was going on, they even got 6 or 7 of the guys pissed about campers so close that they joined the OM circle.

What does Jimmy play? Rythm guitar or more lead? I don't know The Dead too well; in fact, I think that the Leno concert was the first song I've heard of them.

And it was funny....i was about to put in a dirty dvd for a dirty reason, and i turned on the t.v., and the first words i hear "and here are "the dead"" or whatever he said, and i left the dead on to watch it and that was a nice surprise.
