long story [kinda] short-

he was getting guitar lessons from trey (in the late mid 80's i believe) and he would come to the shows. And i think he would also help them set up stuff, but anyways he was standing by the lightboard (which at the time it was a few colored lights on a tiny board you held with some switches) and the guy using it was like "i gotta go piss, take over for me" and he waslike i don't knwo what to do and the guy said to flip the switches. So he did (during the song Mockingbird) and after the show trey went up to the light guy and said "i really like what you did during mockingbird" and the guy just said thanks, but later on kuroda told trey that it was him and for the next show trey told kuroda "the light guy isn't gonna be coming anymore, would you wanna do it?" and he said yes and he's been doing it ever since. Only missed 3 shows which were vegas 04. But he didn't know anything about lighting when he got the job and self taught himself everything pretty much and now he has like the coolest light set up and is my favroite light guy and i think they have the coolest lights.
