The Gorge

Here's a few pictures from my visit to one of the most wonderful amphitheater's in the country. I seen the Allman Brothers and the Dead last July 3rd here.

Me marveling at the beauty of it all.

yea, the stupid gorge allows camping, and the cops dont hassle you.. it's no fun when people are walking around dead lot and people are just ripping the bong freely :evil:

red rocks is much better, cause they love to hassle you, and cops start messin with ya, and you have to make your grilled cheese in the trunk so the cops dont know what your doin... now that's a dead lot :grin:

I live about 35 minutes from the gorge!! IT ROCKS!! This summer, if you can spare the time.. July 9th.. VANS WARPED TOUR @ THE GORGE!!!!

It really is a beautiful place. Overnight camping in the parking lot, crazy beautiful views.. and very very nice concert goers. All in all.. my favorite place to party @ a concert.

I give it a 10!

Gorge is a totally awesome outdoor venue.
I have seen NIN and A perfect Circle(for the music and women), Steely Dan(for the music), and a Summerjam(for the women) at the Gorge.
Great atmosphere at the Gorge.

^A Perfect circle onstage at the Gorge June 2000 concert I went to.

the only thing i didnt like about the gorge was the consession stand.. i was half way thru my trip when i realized i was way hungry, and it was intermission (the dead) and they took forever for the line to move, i only had like 3 people in front of me... it sucked... but it could havve only been like 3 minutes, but it sure felt like forever...

oh, and the gyro's at redrocks are way good... but thier politics suck. i only got in 1 day out of the 5, and it was raining, cold, my feet hurt, and i was trippin... it was pretty fun.

and yea, gorge > red rocks... on dead lot alone.
