No pics ‘cause lazy.

Took T-1’s of shiitake and pioppino. T-2’s of TTBVI and Gym purpuratus. Also sent wedges of gyms to Muda bottles of grain, HWFPs, & wood chips. We’ll see how those work out.

Also hedging my bets and put some Nec D, TTBVI, and Suphanburi spores to plates.

Tico, both were spawned the same day, just one was shook.

Many terrible things on this plate, but the transfers I took were much less contaminated.


Transferred from above plate, then today I took two more transfers hopefully to clean it up.


Two of these pucks have contamination, two are clean. Went to agar with the clean ones.

I also put the force hydrated syringe to agar.



Today things went well, but somehow I keep running low on plates, so this week I'm going to run some more plates in order to keep up with the amount my Amazonian has been requiring :shrug:

Got the pan bispo on rye! Eight pint jars total boxed up during two different windows of time this morning with re-cleaning between, so best chance of success hopefully.

I inoculated a few pints of sorghum from the Vader T1 plates. Recovering from the first shake. Looking mostly ok so far.

Thanks and yeppers. It's my favorite grain so far. I've been buying WBS and sifting the small/medium/large bits apart. What I get has been mostly sorghum and millet with some sunflower. The birds get the sunflower and use the rest. 😂
I should just go buy a bag of sorghum now that I know I like it.

I'm liking these widemouth pint jars too. I can run up to 16 of them in the PC with room to keep them up above 3qts of water. Those have 1¼cup of prepped grain each. Suits my small tubbies.

Checked my plates, so far the only growth I’m seeing is from the bispo WA and the Pans, the others were barren so I scraped some more spores onto both of them. Now you can actually see spores on the plate as opposed to before, so I’m manifesting some damn germination

I’ll post pics and update op tomorrow

Tico T3 looking beautiful to me.

One of my grain jars is basically fully colonized, I'm going to let it go until tomorrow night then spawn it.

I hydrated some coco coir last night using BOD's Bucket TEK.

Amazonian T1 off of the second print's Swab I germinated on a BRF puck is looking like I might have some workable myc.


T2 from that terribly contaminated swab plate. Looks like it might be clean, I'm going to let it grow out and see if I need more transfers to get it solid.




It looks like I'll be able to save the Amazonian after all :headbang:
