I confess, I somehow fucked up my grain bags (I think?) and I really just don’t know how/why.

Yes. Those awful things. Some day I will sit down and calculate the money I wasted before really digging into this place and getting some confidence. I still have a couple of bags of sterilized CVG I bought last summer. So. Totally. Unnecessary.

Today, I’d say the only crutch I still use is I won’t deal with my own agar and still buy plates.

When someone is mad at another person, for anything up to and definitely including banging someone's spouse, your hobby will become their leverage against you.

Especially be careful with someone untrustworthy enough to cheat on their own husband. If they can do that to them, think of what they'll have no problems with doing to you.

With that particular lady, I highly doubt you’d be her first rodeo. But rule one of cult is that you keep who knows about it to a bare minimum. She might not tell him, but she’ll tell her friends, and point you out to them. He may not know everything, but best believe she’s got friends who will know everything. Up to and including how you were.

In short, yeah, you dodged a bullet. For now. Expect to see her if you go there again. So if you want to go that route I’d suggest cleaning up your pigsty and hiding everything better than under a sheet, because if you have to even  leave to go to the bathroom, she WILL be peeking.

I don’t even put anything in the pc until it starts to boil. Then I fill it up and put the lid on with the pressure valve opened. After that once the steam is rolling out I close it off. Once complete I remove from the heat and don’t touch it for a few hours.

Not sure who’s instructions these were, possibly yours but ever since i started  doing it this way my shit is always sterilized.
