You can totally use them in your pressure cooker, over and over. They don't melt, warp or wear out very fast. I've got some that have been pc'd about 500 times and they're still like new.

I believe it says not for processing because they dont have a seal so if someone wanted to use them for making jam then the jam would spoil. However what can sometimes happen is when you take these plastic lids out of the canner and you dont leave the lid loose the air in the jar will suck the lid down creating a tight seal that requires muscle power to open and can distort the shape of the lid (not too much just a little curve). this is due to the air in the jar being warmer than the surrounding air creating a vacuum of high pressure inside, similar to the old "egg gets sucked into a milk bottle" trick.

slither.....actualy, I am growing out pink and golden oysters, and buttons...AKA portabellos so a little pan trops thrown in the mix should be no big deal I hope;)

Cool stuff city folk. All of the replies are helpful. But not any more. I am on a diet and shrooms are no longer on the diet. Allthough I doubt that you actually used them 500 times nighttrain... I drank that stank once.
