Plastic canning lids

Hello,

Are plastic canning lids set up like normal lids, with the band being seperate from the actual lid? If not, does anyone know a supplier of such lids? My friend is looking to use filter disks for the next run and was wondering the best way to use them with plastic lids.

plastic canning lids are usually one piece, i've never seen them have 2 pieces, if you wanna use the filter discs with em, just drill a large hole in the center and put the lid over the disc and screw it on...

THEY SEll the plastic lids right at your local grocery store,or Walmart.But a grocery store of just about any size carries them.
