Well, I don't know about the tape. But the plastic lids(assuming your talking about plastic canning jar lids) can be found at most departmaent stores, like wal-mart.

Really, I didn't know walmart carried that stuff. I have gotten big tubs at the marts as well as other stuff, but I never saw any canning lids. I will have to look better.

i use mayonase jar lids,i just but the small jars of real mayo,they fit fine,eat alot of mayo,but hey, the small jars are about a buck,the same price you would pay for the lids anywase....but then again, i like mayonase,i can eat it straight out the jar.

fungi perfecti does not carry wide mouth size plastic lids. I spoke with them already. :frown:
neither does my walmart, but they did have replacement lids for about three bucks a dozen.

Pete I was rackin my brains tryin to find these (wide mouth plastic storage lids)a few months ago and what I came up with was the plastic Storage lids put out by Ball/alltrista corporation, They are OK to pressure cook even though it says Not for canning on the box. If you cant find them you can order them through a vendor on the Alltrista website http://www.alltrista.com/operations/operation.html
