That would be amazing if I could exclusively cultivate the muscle tissue of certain cuts of cow without the fat omg....

Fat gives meat it's amazing texture and flavor.  For example, lean ground steak burger tastes like crap compared to 80/20.  Fat is wonderful.  Fat is satiating.  A spoonful of delicious healthy butter will keep you satisfied much longer than many other foods, such as a granola bar or a fruit & veggie smoothie.

I recall when I was younger the anti-meat crowd would rant on and on about how terrible hot dogs were because they contained organ meat.  They were hysterical and outraged that any human would eat organ meat.  Of course that is silly.  But millions buy into the hype and misinformation.  Humans have eaten organ meat for thousands of years.  It's healthy.

I prefer the leanest meat possible. Tastes fine to me lol

The negative health outcomes of, for example, regularly eating double cheeseburgers, is not the meat or the fat in the meat, or the cheese, as many people assume. The problems occur due to eating these things along with all of the sugars & carbs in the buns, katsup, and sauces. Since burgers are often eaten with fries and katsup, that's even more sugar & carbs.

See the Randle Cycle for more details. The Randle Cycle is a metabolic process involving the competition of glucose and fatty acids for substrates.  It's simply untrue that "fat clogs your arteries".  There are health problems when you add sugar to high fat food.

You will generally never hear this discussed by educators or media.

Beyond Meat, a plant-based vegan "meat", was so hyped a few years ago.  In 2019 the stock price was $166 and today it's $6.60 . . . The company was founded by  Ethan Brown, who also serves as a manager of Planet Partnership, LLC, a joint venture with PepsiCo.

This is the extremely basic nuance that people leave out completely when they erroneously determine meat must be unhealthy. They don’t look at the 1000 other things that go along with it. And frankly neither does nutrition science.

Under the current paradigm, food studies mean NOTHING because they’re basically always funded by groups trying to prove their product is good and other products are bad. It’s all a fight for market share.

Again, was it the red meat John ate daily that killed him, or was it the cigarettes, whiskey, pancakes, sedentary lifestyle, processed carbohydrates, etc? Well… must be the steaks, said the corn syrup manufacturer.

I wasn't super clear with my original comment. I meant I can't wait until we're set up to make sausage links. Gotta get a meat grinder and some casings and all that fun stuff. We got some Italian links back from the USDA butcher but I'm stoked to make some custom shit. If we can figure out how to have our local butcher process more pigs on site he has all the gear and countless recipes so hopefully we can drum up more support for direct to consumer sales.

I've heard of people flourishing on a high carb plant based diet which is 80% carbs, 10% fats and 10% protein. I enjoy my soy products, nuts and seeds so I can go high as 25% to 35% fats from calories but it's all healthy plant based fats.

Normal people have been diagnosed with diabetes, Alzheimer's, cancer and heart disease and going plant based have quite literally cured their diseases, went into remission or slowed down the progression with a whole foods plant based diet.
This is the truth. This isn't a lie or bullshit, it's based on real life situations and simple nutrition changes; not planned studies. And it isn't just some doctors, plant based doctors are becoming much more common.
Did you know most doctors don't even study nutrition in medical school? Not every doctors opinion about what to eat or not eat matters.

Why are you bringing up that processed carbs causes disease?
McDonalds Triple Cheeseburger -

Beef patty x 3 = 240 kcal
Cheese slice = 139 kcal
Bun = 139 kcal
Minimal carbs in sauces and veg.

A McDonalds triple cheeseburger has 32 grams fat (46% RI) and 16 grams (79% RI) saturated fat, compared to 33 grams (9.3 grams sugar, 10% RI) carbohydrates which is 13% RI.
That's a high amount of fat for only 575 calories in that burger.
It IS the fat causing obesity, not the minimal amount of processed carbohydrates.

Mock meats are not part of a healthy plant based diet. Mock meats are considered processed and unhealthy. When I and most vegans talk about eating a plant based diet, it's unprocessed natural carbs, proteins and fats.
You omnivores are downplaying vegans by deluding yourself into thinking there's no difference between processed and whole food carbohydrates.
I've said this earlier in this thread but the dairy, meat and industry have been caught corrupting studies to say meat, eggs and dairy don't cause disease.
