It isn't gonna happen. It was poppy pods tea. Last time I checked, which was 5 to 6 years ago, you can't even buy poppy pods in the UK now. Zero interest in doing other opiates or opioid.
I am real happy now. Hugely satisfied with life and content.

Are we posting on a website that encourages drug use? We all have our weaknesses. What do you use Kevin?
You cannot downplay veganism because I was addicted to poppy pods tea. How can you rationalise such a thought

If I was given the opportunity to become a vampire, I’d take it. One, I’ve always been a night owl. Two, every human you take out is a net positive for the planet, and, by extension, the survival of humanity itself. I’d dedicate my abnormally long lifespan to doing something beneficial like developing cold fusion energy or some shit.

:justdontknow: What part hobbit? I'm regards to relapsing or downplaying veganism because I used poppy pods 8 years ago.
He clearly made a patronising comment that even though I'm recovering, there's a chance I'll relapse and he's seen it happen. It was done to put me down.
Don't deny it hobbit, that was clearly his intention.

To me it just seemed like he was giving his thoughts on the nature of recovery. I won’t speak for him. Maybe he was totally putting you down, but I just read it as a general statement about his personal experience with people recovering from opioids and how it might relate to your about to go cold turkey (no pun intended) on meat given your success dropping another thing you found to be personally harmful

It may look like pink Jello but scientists hope this new invention could revolutionize meat

“Would you like that burger medium rare, well-done, or lab-grown?

Researchers in South Korea say they’ve developed a new way to make lab-grown meat taste like the real deal. It may look like a transparent, bubble gum pink-colored disc, but scientists hope it could revolutionize the meat on people’s plates.

Lab-grown meat — also called cultured meat or cell-based meat — is emerging as an alternative to conventional meat, offering the same nutritional benefits and sensory experience without the carbon footprint

It’s made by cultivating animal cells directly in a lab grown on 3D structures called ‘scaffolds,’ which allow the cells to multiply, eliminating the need to raise and farm animals.

Scientists have created everything from cultured meatballs to 3D printed steaks. While some previous iterations of cultured beef have mimicked the look and feel of the real thing, according to a new study, they’ve overlooked a key element: taste.

But in the study, published Tuesday in the journal Nature Communications, researchers say they have cracked the code, developing a cultured meat that generates ‘grilled beef flavors upon cooking.’

‘Flavor is the most important thing to make cultured meat be accepted as real,’ Milae Lee, a co-author on the paper and a PhD student in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Seoul’s Yonsei University told CNN.

To mimic the taste of conventional meat, Lee and her colleagues recreated the flavors generated during the Maillard reaction — a chemical reaction that occurs between an amino acid and a reducing sugar when heat is added, giving a burger that delicious, charred taste.

They do this by introducing a switchable flavor compound into a gelatin-based hydrogel, to form something called a functional scaffold, which Lee described as the ‘basic composition of the cultured meat.’”

Humanity is an abomination. Nothing natural about us. We reject the natural. We’ll turn it all into a hell for ourselves. The technological salvation will all prove to be our damnation. We’re chasing after mirages, losing ourselves in the desert of the unreal.

I'd argue the products of human are natural, even if that goes against the traditional definition of the word.

Most everyone around me acts elderly or sickly, with a couple of exceptions.

I would assume that their metabolism is different from mine.

Garlic is welcome, and I am possibly eating a lot of healthy things that counteract bad cholesterol.

I will. If they found a way that I could harvest, grow, and safely eat my own meat from myself or a cow or something to where I could continuously grow it I would eat that too :wonka:
