The sonic game was the one I played on the demo thing at the mall when it first came out. That was so badass.

My buddy had the soul caliber parry timing down so well that he was basically unbeatable.

Yeah.....I totally wasn't one of those players :awehigh:

:awehigh:

Edit: growing up I pretty much exclusively played fighting games. Then as I got older and found other hobbies I kinda fell out of it.

I literally can remember 2 different instances of 2 different friends absolutely raging at me after school and me apologizing saying I'm just trying to play the game 😭

Edit: I'm not hardcore like that anymore with the newer games though. Like smash ultimate I have a friend who is literally untouchable as Samus. It's crazy.

I remember watching those guys play smash bros in the university library, I would consider myself a decent fighter in the N64 version and ok in the GameCube version, but I'd get my shit kicked in by those dudes.

I was a fighting demon all the way up to smash bros melee but now I'm the same. I will get wrecked in smash ultimate

However I bet I could wipe the floor with all these new kids on the old arcade fighters :awehigh:

Never liked the smash bros games myself. A shame, would have had a lot of fun at parties

Smash Bros 64 went hard. That's one of the few that was good enough to drive me nuts while in passionately fierce competition with friends. To the point that the heated arguments around our playing nearly caused us to come to fisticuffs on numerous occasions. Luckily it never did, but it got sure did it close.

Ohh boy, you really went there...

It is true though. Mario Kart 64 could even straight up destroy the entire family if you weren't careful enough. :sadyes:
