Just use the print, you're most likely to get contams by making the syringe...might as well use the print :P.

Here is my version if it helps..............



10 easy steps to 'Spore Vender Independence', by Pavlov's Dog

This is the way...........

You need:

1 canning jar.
1 scraping tool eg; exacto knife, butter knife, or razor blade... improvise.
1 CLEAN sporeprint.
1 6x6 peice of tin foil.
1 STERILE 10 or 12 CC syringe w/needle.
11 or 13 cc's/Ml of DISTILLED water.

Heres EXACTLY how to do it:

1 - poke 1 hole into the edge of the canning jar lid.

2 - Get your canning jar ready, squirt 11 or 13 CC's of distilled water into the jar.

3 - wrap 6x6 peice of foil OVER the TOP of the OPEN jar.

4 - place lid w/hole on top of foil, carefully ALL excess foil that is hanging out. Now screw the ring on tight, while holding the lid in place

5 - wrap up your scraping tool in tin foil completely.

6 - If your syringe has been opened and/or used, then wrap it up in foil also.

7 - Autoclave (pressure cook) the jar w/water, wrapped scraping tool and syringe (only if its used, try to get a NEW one if possible, they come sterile). Autoclave for 15 minutes at 15 PSI.

8 - After the claving, let your jar of water and spore tools cool, you now have STERILE water, and STERILE tools to work with.

9 - Now remove the RING ONLY from the jar, remove scraping tool from the foil, carefully open your sporeprint, swiftly but carefully lift canning lid (set it aside, don't let the bottom touch ANYTHING, in fact, place it face UP 'IN' the oven, if you are using an oven) and scrape desired amount of spores into jar, then close the lid, screw ring back on, and SHAKE LIKE HELL.
*I recommend a 'Glove Box' for this part, but lots of Lysol, and an oven "USUALLY" works ;), look up 'THE OVEN TEK' for more info on that.

10 - Now you are ready to withdraw your sporejuice, flame your needle, inject through the 'foil sealed hole', tilt jar and withdraw spores. It's a good idea to let them rehydrate for 6 to 12 hours, but not mandetory. The more spores you use, the better your chances against cantams, but if all is done correctly, you shouldn't really have any problem with any amount of spores... it doesn't take much.

You can make the print paper sterile by spraying it with alcohol and let it dry with a cap around. Or putting it in the oven at 130 ?C for half an hour....!
